* Select the Windows Security app from the search results, go to **Virus & threat protection**. Under **Virus & threat protection settings** select **Manage settings**
* Switch **Real-time protection** and **Tamper protection** to Off

* Download **dControl** from the MEGA link above
* Unzip the files
* Run **dControl.exe**
* Use the app to **Disable Windows Defender**
